1515年に千葉氏の分家の当主として生まれる。 千葉氏の伝統を継承し、下総国を拠点に勢力拡大を図る。 上杉謙信や北条氏康ら周辺大名と複雑な同盟関係を結ぶ。 本佐倉城など要害を整備し、領国防衛に努める。 晩年は内紛や隣国との抗争に苦しみ、1547年に没した。 その死後、勢力は衰退し千葉氏は歴史の舞台から姿を消した。

Édouard Mortier, born in 1768, distinguished himself as a soldier during the French Revolutionary Wars and became one of Napoleon’s trusted Marshals. Awarded the title Duke of Treviso, he led troops in key battles across Europe. After his military career, he served briefly as Prime Minister under Napoleon I, overseeing important administrative reforms. Mortier’s leadership combined tactical skill with diplomatic acumen. He died in 1835, remembered for his contributions to both the battlefield and the governance of France.
