Joseph Smith was an American visionary and the founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1830, he published the Book of Mormon, which he translated from golden plates revealed to him. Smith led his followers through New York, Ohio, Missouri, and Illinois, establishing new communities and places of worship. He introduced unique doctrines and organizational structures that define Mormon faith to this day. His charismatic leadership and theological innovations left an enduring mark on American religious history. Smith's life ended in 1844 when he was killed by an armed mob in Carthage, Illinois.

Anthony Mary Claret was a Spanish Roman Catholic archbishop known for his fervent missionary work and social reform efforts. He founded the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, commonly called the Claretians. Claret ministered in Cuba, Spain, and beyond, preaching spiritual renewal and charitable outreach. As Archbishop of Santiago, he established schools and care programs for the poor, earning widespread respect. He was also a prolific writer of devotional and theological works. Canonized in 1950, Claret's legacy continues through Claretians serving in dozens of countries worldwide.

Jan Jakob Lodewijk ten Kate was a prominent Dutch pastor and poet in the 19th century. He served as a Lutheran minister while composing devotional poetry and hymn translations. His works combined deep religious conviction with elegant lyrical style. Ten Kate translated and adapted classical and biblical texts, making them accessible to Dutch audiences. He published several poetry collections that remained popular throughout his lifetime. His influence extended beyond the pulpit into the wider literary community in the Netherlands.

Served as a U.S. diplomat in East Asia before full-time church service. Called as a General Authority Seventy in 1996 and as an Apostle in 2018. Has authored articles and lectures on religious education and global citizenship.
