Born in Karvína, now Czech Republic, Alexius Meinong became a professor in Graz. He founded the 'Graz School' and developed the influential Theory of Objects, exploring non-existent entities. Meinong's work challenged traditional ontology and enriched discussions on intentionality. He authored numerous treatises on psychology, logic, and aesthetics. His ideas laid groundwork for later philosophers, including Bertrand Russell and Franz Brentano.
