Midori Colada

Category: Long Cocktail
Base Spirit: Rum
Alcohol Content: 12-15%

Description

The Midori Colada is a tropical cocktail featuring Japan's pride, the melon liqueur 'Midori'. By adding Midori's sweet melon flavor to the classic Piña Colada, it achieves a more complex and rich taste. The beautiful emerald green color is distinctive and visually appealing. The sweetness of melon, creaminess of coconut, and tartness of pineapple are perfectly balanced, creating a luxurious drink reminiscent of tropical paradise.

Origin

Country of Origin: United States (1980年代)

After Suntory launched Midori in America in 1978, a Midori boom occurred in 1980s America. During this period, many bartenders created new cocktails using Midori, and the Midori Colada was one of them.
