Under his guidance, the Knights emphasized principles of charity, unity, and fraternity, rapidly growing into a major philanthropic organization. McGivney balanced pastoral duties with community leadership, fostering a spirit of service among immigrants. Although he died young at 38 from pneumonia, his vision endured, and the Knights continue to serve millions worldwide. He was declared 'Venerable' by the Catholic Church in 2008, advancing on the path to sainthood.
