Origin

Country of Origin: Japan (1967年)

In October 1967, Osaka bartender Yoshiyuki Watanabe presented this as his winning entry at the All Japan Bartenders Association cocktail competition. Inspired by the skydiving sport that was popular in Japan at the time, it was created to evoke the image of endless blue skies seen during a skydive. To express the beauty of the blue sky, blue curaçao was used to create a vivid blue color, and the refreshing taste represents that sense of coolness - making it a true masterpiece.
