Walter Annenberg inherited his grandfather’s media empire and transformed it into a publishing powerhouse with titles like TV Guide and Seventeen. Born in 1908, he led Triangle Publications for decades, reaching millions of readers worldwide. A generous philanthropist, Annenberg donated hundreds of millions to education, medicine, and the arts through the Annenberg Foundation. In 1969, President Nixon appointed him U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom, where he strengthened Anglo-American relations. He founded the Annenberg School for Communication at USC and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Annenberg died in 2002, leaving a lasting legacy in media and philanthropy.
