Georgia Frontiere was an American businesswoman and philanthropist who became the principal owner and chairwoman of the Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams franchise. Born in 1927, she took over the team in 1979 and led its relocation to St. Louis in 1995. Under her leadership, the Rams won Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000. She was also known for her philanthropic work in education, health care, and the arts. Frontiere was one of the few female owners in major American sports and a trailblazer in the NFL. She passed away in 2008 at the age of 80.

Her contributions helped establish professional standards for estheticians and popularize advanced facial treatments. She is often referred to as the 'mother of modern esthetics.'
